American multinational transportation firm, Uber’s Intercity service now connects over 3,000 routes between cities and towns.
Now, the transportation service provider is publicising this expansion by offering rides in custom-designed luxury motorhomes to its Delhi-NCR users for a limited period.

Uber Launching Rides To Custom-designed Luxury Motorhomes
While giving credit to the growth of India’s road transport infrastructure in recent years Uber said that the continuing development of highways and expressways has allowed it to reach more destinations than ever before, including smaller towns.
So far, the company has not disclosed exact statistics, further confirming that long-distance travel is an area of interest, and intercity travel has posted significant year-on-year growth.
Coming to the Uber luxury motorhomes, they have been custom designed for Uber, and can be booked for journeys beginning within the Delhi-NCR area between August 7 and September 6.
If you are wondering regarding the commencement of this service, Uber will accept bookings beginning from August 4.
How to Book Comfortable Intercity Rides On Uber Motorhomes?
The platform will be showing a new icon for this booking category during the promotion period.
So far, the online booking platform has not given any information regarding the number of such vehicles which will be deployed and also the destinations they can be taken to.
According to Uber, each of its motorhomes can seat up to five people comfortably, describing them as “private lounges on wheels”.
For those who could manage to book this service, they will have a driver and a helper at their service.
We can observe plush interiors, large bench seats, window shades, soft lighting, and Uber branding on some soft furnishings from the photos which were released by the company.
Besides this, these vehicles will be equipped with a mini fridge, a microwave, a TV, and a toilet.
Please note here that booking an Intercity Motorhome will give riders all the same conveniences as standard Uber trips.
The users can make bookings in advance and they can add stops during the mid-journey.
During the journey, cars and routes can be tracked in real-time, and live support is available through the app.
