A piece of good news for the smartphone enthusiast as the new year celebration extends with several popular smartphones launching their flagships in the first month of 2024.
Let’s go through the list of smartphones which are expected to be launched in 2024.
1. Unveiling of OnePlus 12
As reported, its 12 series is set to launch in India on January 23, 2024.
It appears that the Chinese smartphone maker has also given a nod for the simultaneous launch of the OnePlus 12R with the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 series is expected to offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+ support, further boasting an impressive 6.82-inch display sporting Fluid AMOLED technology.
2. Samsung Galaxy S24 Launch
So far, this Korean smartphone maker hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming flagship smartphones.
But, media reports suggest that the Galaxy S24 launch event most probably will take place on January 17, 2024.
As we know, Samsung has applied for several artificial intelligence-related trademarks in the UK and Europe.
It includes ‘AI Phone’ and ‘AI Smartphone’ hence hinting at the plethora of AI-related features mostly expected to be offered in the upcoming smartphones.
3. Unveiling of Xiaomi 14 Pro
The media reports have suggested that the premium smartphone from Xiaomi is expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2024 which is scheduled in February 2024.
This upcoming launch features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor under the hood.
With a 6.7-inch display of WQHD+ resolution, it offers a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a pixel density of 522ppi.
4. Vivo X100 Series Launch
The Chinese smartphone has already released its Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones debut dates in India which is scheduled for January 4, 2024.
These smartphones were already launched in China in November.
Since then the speculation about the smartphone’s global debut has been rife.
Both of these devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor based on a 4-nanometer process.
Further they feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display having support for 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
5. Apple iPhone 16 Series Launch
Although Apple has not officially confirmed, but the launch date of its flagship iPhone 16 smartphone series considering the recent history and media reports, the iPhone maker may decide to launch its premium smartphones in September 2024.
