Ullal is a British-born Indian business executive who has led Arista Networks as President and CEO for about 17 years.
Arista Networks, based in Santa Clara, focuses on building high-performance, software-driven networking switches and solutions used by large data centres, cloud service providers, and enterprise campuses.
She joined Arista Networks in September 2008 and continues to serve as its chief executive.
Before taking on her role at Arista, Ullal held positions at Cisco Systems, AMD, and Fairchild Semiconductor.
Ullal completed her early education at the Convent of Jesus & Mary in New Delhi before moving to the United States.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Francisco State University.
In 1986, she completed a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
In 2025, she was also awarded an honorary doctorate in engineering.

Satya Nadella’s net worth is reported to be approximately $1.1 billion, significantly lower than Ullal’s.
