One of the most popular apps for chatbot services is WhatsApp. The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), in the most recent development, has launched a 24/7 interactive service for its subscribers on WhatsApp. Policyholders will be able to access information and services about their policies inside the official LIC WhatsApp chatbot with the aid of this service.
Services offered by LIC WhatsApp chatbot:
The LIC WhatsApp chatbot will provide customers with a variety of services, including:
• Policyholders can get information on whether they qualify for loans.
• You can use the chatbot to obtain bonus details and ULIP-statements of units.
• The LIC WhatsApp chatbot will also provide links to LIC services, notifications for loan interest due dates, updates on premium due dates, and certificates for premiums that have been paid.
“Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is synonymous with trust and assurance for over 250 million people in India. WhatsApp is delighted to partner with this iconic institution to make the essential financial solution of insurance available for all. LIC’s services on the WhatsApp Business Platform are redefining the conventional experience for policyholders, making it simpler, safe, secure and on the go,” said Ravi Garg, director – business messaging, WhatsApp India.
LIC policyholders must register on www.licindia.in in order to access services. Then, users can choose any of the services by sending a “Hi” from their registered mobile number to +91 89768 62090.
According to WhatsApp, the interactive service will speed up, secure, and improve the process. ValueFirst created the WhatsApp Chatbot for the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC).
IRCTC WhatsApp chatbot
The Indian Railways announced earlier this week that a WhatsApp chatbot with AI capabilities will soon allow train passengers to place food orders. The service will answer questions from customers about ordering food online and e-catering.
“WhatsApp communication for e-catering services implemented on selected trains and passengers. Based on customer feedback and suggestions, the company will enable the same on other trains,” the Railways said in a statement.
Meals are currently being delivered on specific routes by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) via WhatsApp at +91 8750001323.
