TCS Promises To Launch BSNL 4G, 5G Services By Mid-2025

Millions of users will be relieved when BSNL’s 4G and 5G services launch on time, allaying earlier worries about delays.

Concerns about possible delays were allayed when Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) confirmed that the rollout was still on schedule.

BSNL To Introduce 4G Services Across One Lakh Base Stations: Telecom Minister Scindia

As previously stated by Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, BSNL plans to introduce 4G services across one lakh base stations by May 2025, with 5G services to follow in June 2025, according to TCS Chief Operating Officer N. Ganapathy Subramaniam.

With TCS stressing that the project is moving forward according to schedule and will be finished on schedule, this announcement has reassured users who have been anxiously awaiting high-speed connectivity.

The Modi administration has emphasized that all of BSNL’s 4G and 5G networks will be domestically developed, demonstrating India’s telecom technological independence.

TCS and Tejas Networks Working Together For Infrastructure and Technology Development

TCS and Tejas Networks have expressed confidence in their ability to meet deadlines and are working together to develop the necessary infrastructure and technology.

In order to guarantee the seamless rollout of BSNL’s high-speed services, TCS is also collaborating closely with both Indian and foreign telecom partners.

TCS confirmed that it received the contract in July 2023 and is operating within the 24-month timeframe, and it denied any project delays.

According to the company, the project is moving forward at full speed and will be finished on schedule.

User anticipation was further increased when TCS alluded to a major announcement that BSNL would be making soon regarding its 4G-5G services.

BSNL’s New Broadband Plans

BSNL has disrupted the telecom market with its new broadband plans offering massive data, lightning-fast speeds, and premium OTT subscriptions. 

The Fibre Ruby OTT plan delivers 6,500GB of data at 300 Mbps and unlimited 40 Mbps internet post-consumption for ₹4,799/month, making it ideal for heavy internet users. Budget options like the Fibre Entry plan at ₹329/month ensure affordability and quality for moderate users.
