The launch of the Ola S1X is anticipated to take place on Independence Day, 15th of August 2023.

Ola Electric To Launch S1X By This Date

Insiders in the industry have disclosed that the Ola S1X is expected to have a starting price below Rs 1 lakh, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious commuters looking for an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional petrol-powered scooters.

During the presentation, Ola emphasized that the new S1X is set to be an ‘ICE killer,’ suggesting that it could be the end of traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) scooters. This launch will be a significant milestone in Ola’s mission to transform the Indian electric vehicle market and make eco-friendly mobility accessible to everyone.

Ola Electric has been experiencing significant growth, becoming the top-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, selling an impressive 17,579 units in June 2023.

Ola S1X: Specifications and Features

The scooter is expected to offer an impressive range of around 100 km, catering to the daily commuting needs of riders. Its sibling, the S1 Air, has a certified range of 125 km, while the more powerful S1 Pro boasts an impressive 181 km range on a single full charge, with prices starting from Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the upcoming launch of the Ola S1X, budget-conscious riders are presented with an exciting choice. The electric revolution is drawing nearer to a significant tipping point, with the enticing possibility of owning an electric marvel within a budget of Rs 1 lakh becoming a reality.
