On 5th August 2025, the Chinese technology giant, Samsung Electronics, announced the expansion of its ongoing One UI 8 beta program to additional Galaxy devices.

One UI 8.0 Beta Program Availability To Galaxy Device Users
It appears that Samsung has decided to significantly expand the availability of its One UI 8.0 beta program, providing a broader range of Galaxy device users with early access to its latest software.
In this update, the company is introducing a suite of features designed to enhance multitasking, improve device functionality, and offer greater customization options.
Hence, this update sets the foundation for advanced multimodal capabilities to more Galaxy devices across various form factors, along with more intuitive Galaxy AI experiences that simplify everyday routines.
Prior to this, it was introduced with the Galaxy S25 series in May. But now the One UI 8 beta program will include the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 beginning next week in Korea, the U.S., the U.K. and India.
The company is planning to extend this availability to even more devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G and A54 in September.
How To Register For Beta Program?
If you are wondering, now users can register for the beta program via the Samsung Members app.
In simple words, if you own a compatible Galaxy device, you can participate in the beta program through the Samsung Members app, which will allow the users to explore these updates ahead of the official release.
When it comes to the One, UI 8 delivers smarter, it provides more convenient AI experiences through multimodal capabilities that understands users’ real-time context and supports more natural interactions.
The users can activate Google’s Gemini with voice or by long-pressing either earbud after pairing this with the Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro.
Moving ahead, One UI 8 enhances productivity and efficiency while offering personalized, proactive suggestions tailored to each user as it is designed to complement Galaxy’s diverse form factors.
Samsung seems to be all set to roll out the official version of One UI 8 during September after incorporating the valuable feedback from beta program participants.
The company will not commence the update with the Galaxy S25 series and will be rolled out sequentially to other eligible devices.
Besides this, One UI 8 Watch will expand to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year.
This will be delivering motivational health features and a more refined, intuitive smartwatch interface to a wider range of users.
