Samsung's Cheapest 5G Phone Launched At Rs 9499: Samsung Galaxy F06

Samsung’s cheapest 5G phone, the Galaxy F06, has been launched recently. As per report, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy F06 also has Carrier Aggregation, a feature typically found in mid-range devices, and supports 12 5G bands.

This device is compatible with all major telecom operators in India, unlike other low-cost 5G phones that are limited to specific network providers.

Samsung Launches Galaxy F06: Company’s First Budget 5G Phone

The phone is visually striking due to its ostentatious design.

It has a sizable 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with 800 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM).

There is an 8MP selfie camera in a teardrop notch on the front, and a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the back.

One of the fastest-charging phones in its price range, the device has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging.

It is powered by One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, and Samsung promises to provide OS updates and security patches for four years.

User-requested features like Knox Vault, a hardware-backed security system, and Voice Focus, which lowers background noise for clearer calls, have been added by Samsung.

While the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant costs Rs 10,999, the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 9,499 instead.

After a much-anticipated launch at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in California, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is officially on open sale in India. Previously available for pre-order, the new phones can now be purchased through major online and offline retail channels. Alongside the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, Samsung has teased the Galaxy S25 Edge, a slim flagship expected to arrive in Q2 2025.

The Galaxy S25 series is available on Samsung’s official India website as well as leading retail outlets. Customers who missed pre-ordering can still avail of ongoing offers. For instance, the double-storage upgrade offer remains active, which means you can purchase the 512GB versions of the S25+ and S25 Ultra at the price of their 256GB variants.
