Samsung Will Launch AI-Powered Foldable Phone On July 10 In Paris

On July 10, Samsung will hold a product launch event called “Galaxy Unpacked 2024” in Paris.

This event takes place in the run-up to the Olympic Games in Paris.

Samsung To Launch New Foldable Phones in Paris

Experts anticipate that Samsung will introduce new foldable phones (the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip lines) with integrated AI capabilities.

There are also rumors that a new Galaxy Ring wearable and a Galaxy Watch 7 range may be unveiled.

Samsung recently revealed that its AI assistant is now optimized for new foldable devices and is available beyond its own calling app. It is anticipated that the translation tool would be integrated with third-party messaging apps for voice calls.

Samsung highlights that they are dedicated to developing mobile AI technologies in order to fulfill present and future demands.

Global research institutes, such as those in Vietnam, China, India, and Poland, are working hard to enhance and add more language support for Samsung’s AI assistant.

Foldable Smartphones From Galaxy Series To Come With AI Capabilities

Next month, new foldable smartphones from the Galaxy series with AI capabilities should be unveiled.

Market observers anticipate the release of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Samsung Z Fold series, both of which include generative AI built in.

At the presentation, Samsung is anticipated to present its first Galaxy Ring smart device as well as the Galaxy Watch 7 series.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Galaxy AI would be expanding its capabilities beyond the built-in calling app and optimizing it for future foldable smartphones.

There are plans to add voice calls capabilities for other third-party messaging apps to the ‘Live Translate’ service.

According to Samsung, advances in mobile AI are being expedited to suit the demands of the present and the future.

Recently, Samsung’s EVP Sally Jeong revealed in a recent roundtable that while AI features will be free till 2025, the company will determine the future direction post that based on user analysis. A footnote on the Galaxy S24 series product pages also makes clear that different terms may apply for third party AI functionalities after 2025.
