Samsung is rapidly scaling its Galaxy AI ecosystem, aiming to bring the experience to over 400 million devices worldwide by the end of 2025. Since launching the world’s first AI phone—the Galaxy S24 series in 2024—the company has integrated multimodal intelligence across smartphones, wearables, tablets, and PCs, transforming how users interact with technology.

Strong Adoption Among Users

The response has been overwhelming. Over 70% of Galaxy S25 users actively use Galaxy AI features, while the launch of the Galaxy Z series has further boosted adoption. Samsung’s AI-driven One UI 8 interface has enhanced accessibility, making AI features like creative photo editing and smart productivity tools mainstream for global users.

Popular AI Features

Among the most widely used features are Photo Assist and Audio Eraser. Photo Assist, which helps users edit and enhance photos in the Gallery app, has seen its usage nearly double compared to the Galaxy S24. Similarly, Audio Eraser allows users to remove background noise from videos, making content creation more seamless.

Additionally, Samsung’s partnership with Google has integrated features like Gemini Live and Circle to Search, the latter being used by more than half of Galaxy S25 users daily. These tools reflect how AI is becoming central to the Galaxy experience.

Samsung’s Hiring Plans

Parallel to its AI push, Samsung Group has announced plans to hire 60,000 employees over the next five years, focusing on semiconductors, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. This move is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen future growth engines and provide opportunities for young professionals.

The recruitment drive spans 19 Samsung affiliates, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung C&T, and Samsung Biologics. Continuing its long-standing open recruitment program since 1957, the company also plans to expand internships to help job seekers gain practical experience before formal hiring.

Looking Ahead

With Galaxy AI adoption surging and Samsung investing in talent and innovation, the company is positioning itself as a global leader in AI-driven consumer technology. The expansion to 400 million devices will mark a milestone in making artificial intelligence a daily utility for millions worldwide.
