Samsung Promises 7 Years Of Software Updates For Galaxy S24 Series; Leaked Images Shows AI Powers Of Camera!

In fact, some exclusive leaks have also revealed a lot of details about the upcoming smartphone.

What do we know about the Samsung Galaxy S24? Let’s find out.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Family To be Revealed; Leaks Reveal AI Features

The South Korean tech technology giant will be revealing the Samsung Galaxy S24 family at the Unpacked event on January 17.

Ahead of the event, some leaks have revealed details and images about the event and the phones that will be launched.

As per the leaks, Galaxy AI will be the main focus of the event which means that AI will play a major role in improving the user experience of the phones.

Apparently, Samsung is following in Google’s footsteps by focusing on AI in the Galaxy S24 series. Google did the same with its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Camera Specs

The promo image that has been leaked reveals an AI camera feature that will enable users to move, shrink, and delete objects from photos during post-processing.

The leaks have also revealed camera specifications for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. There will be a 200MP wide-angle lens, 2x Optical Quality Zoom, and 5x Optical Zoom for the Ultra model.

The Galaxy S24 series will come with a 12MP selfie camera, 10MP camera with 3x Optical Zoom, 50MP wide-angle lens camera with 2x Optical Quality Zoom, and a 12MP Ultra Wide lens camera for the standard model.

Whereas, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with an additional 200MP wide-angle lens featuring 2x Optical Quality Zoom and 5x Optical Zoom.

Samsung To Provide 7 Years Of Updates

Mirroring another move of Google, Samsung will be providing 7 years of updates for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.

The leak further suggests that the Galaxy AI features will be free of charge until at least 2025. However, this is only for supported Galaxy devices. This means that in the future, Samsung will be charging customers to enjoy advanced features.

Some AI features will probably require users to log in with their Samsung account credentials. Specific details about AI features are still under the covers.

We will keep you informed as we get any more updates!
