OneUI 8: What Features Does It Offer?
OneUI 8 introduces new AI-powered features through Google Gemini, enabling context-aware assistance that reduces app-switching by performing tasks automatically based on user activity.
The system also learns from daily usage patterns, offering personalised reminders, shortcuts, and suggestions.
Popular AI tools first seen on the Galaxy S25 series, such as Generative Edits and Chat Assist, will now be extended to older devices as part of this update.
Samsung has enhanced the Now Bar and Now Brief, which now support live notifications from a broader range of apps.
Another key feature is the redesigned split screen mode. Unlike the traditional 50:50 layout, the new version allows one app to be dragged mostly off-screen, giving more space to the primary app while still keeping the secondary app accessible.
