AISATS Unveils Major Logistics Hub at Bengaluru Airport to Boost Cargo Capacity
The park features three key buildings: a two-story Grade A main warehouse with over 240,000 sq. ft of floor space, an 11,000 sq. ft public bonded warehouse, and a 24,000 sq. ft office complex for customs house agents and logistics firms. Nipun Aggarwal, chairman of AISATS, stated that this world-class facility would bolster regional economic prosperity and establish Bengaluru and Karnataka as leaders in logistics innovation and trade excellence.
Strategically located at Kempegowda International Airport, India’s third busiest airport and the gateway for 40% of South India’s air cargo, the logistics park is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing freight-handling capacity. The airport processed 502,480 metric tonnes of cargo in FY25 and aims to double this volume to 1 million metric tonnes by 2030.
