Lotus, the renowned British car manufacturer, has made its debut in India through Exclusive Motors, the authorized representative for the brand in the country.
The Eletre R, unveiled today, claims the title of the world’s fastest dual-motor pure electric SUV, boasting a remarkable top speed of 265 kmph and an acceleration from zero to 100 kmph in just 2.95 seconds.
Lotus Makes Its India Debut Through Exclusive Motors
Lotus has emphasized that the pricing of the Eletre is subject to change based on options, exchange rate fluctuations, and tax adjustments.
The Lotus Eletre is available at a price of Rs. 2.55 crore, the Eletre S at Rs. 2.75 crore, and the Eletre R at Rs. 2.99 crore (all prices, ex-showroom pan India).
Additionally, Lotus has confirmed the introduction of the Emira mid-engined sports car in India next year.
The Emira will offer two powertrain choices, featuring a 2.0L inline four-cylinder turbo engine producing around 360 hp with a DCT transmission, and a more powerful V6 supercharged mill generating 400 hp, available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
The Lotus Eletre and Eletre S exhibit a power output of 603 hp and 710 Nm, boasting a claimed maximum range of 600 km.
Flagship Electre R and Electre S: Specifications and Features
The flagship Eletre R delivers an impressive 905 hp and 985 Nm, with a claimed range of 490 km. The torque figures are 710 Nm and 985 Nm, respectively, and the acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is 4.5 seconds for the former and 2.95 seconds for the latter.
Both versions feature a 112 kWh battery pack, allowing for a fast charging time of just 20 minutes between 10 percent and 80 percent using a fast charger.
