Reliance Jio launched 5G for consumers in 34 more cities on Wednesday.
Its 5G network services are now available in 365 cities in the country.
Jio will offer 5G at no additional cost to the consumers same as Airtel.

Cities which were covered with Jio’s 5G networks include:

- Vinukonda (Andhra Pradesh)

- Kaithal
- Rewari (Haryana)
- Dharamshala
- Kangra (Himachal Pradesh)
- Baramulla
- Kathua
- Katra
- Sopore (Jammu & Kashmir)
- Haveri
- Karwar
- Ranebennur (Karnataka)
- Attingal (Kerala)
- Tura (Meghalaya)
- Bhawanipatna
- Jatani
- Khordha
- Sundargarh (Odisha)
- Ambur
- Chidambaram
- Namakkal

Jio is the first telecom operator to True 5G services to most of these cities.

Going forward
The telco’s intention is to launch 5G in every part of the country by the end of this year.
By December 2023, Jio True 5G will reach every town in the country.

It is rolling out 5G at a rapid pace and inviting users to avail the Welcome Offer to experience unlimited 5G.
Eligibility
There is, however, certain eligibility criteria.
First of all, you need to recharge with a Rs 239 plan or more.
If you haven’t, then you will have to recharge with the Rs 61 data voucher to be eligible for the Welcome Offer.
In a statement Jiio said, “We are proud to rollout Jio True 5G in these 34 cities.
This is a tribute to millions of Jio users in these cities who will start enjoying the benefits of Jio True 5G technology.”
“Jio engineers are working round the clock to deliver True-5G to every Indian, so that the transformational power and the exponential benefits of this technology can be experienced by every citizen of the country,” said a Jio spokesperson.
To access Jio’s 5G networks, you must have a 5G phone that supports 5G.
Earlier this week, Jio introduced a new set of postpaid family plans, Jio Plus, for families of up to four members.
The services will be available free of cost for a month.
In brief
With this, users get free Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions with a single postpaid plan.
Some of the plans also include unlimited voice, SMS, and other benefits.
The telco is also offering a free one-month trial to any four members of your family to test the plan.
The new Jio Plus plans will be available for purchase starting March 22.
