Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro have debuted in Europe albeit in a clandestine manner.
At a regional launch event in Athens, Greece, Xiaomi unveiled two additional devices, aside from the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12, and Redmi Note 12 4G.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G
This model was announced a couple of days ago in Indonesia, and it’s now making its way to Europe and will likely get a wider release at some later point.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 732G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, similar to other Note 12 series smartphones.
In the camera department, there’s a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
On the front it gets a 16-megapixel sensor.
It runs the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Redmi Note 12S
The device boasts a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The camera setup comprises a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
On the front side, it features a 16-megapixel snapper.
Unlike the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, the Redmi Note 12S runs the Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 14 custom user interface.
The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with support for 67W fast charging.
