Realme 12+ 5G Launched At Rs 22,000 In Malaysia and Indonesia; India Launch On This Date

Prior to its release in India, the Realme 12+ 5G has been unveiled in Malaysia and Indonesia.

An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity chipset powers the device.

A full-HD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz is included with the device.

Realme 12+ 5G Unveiled in Malaysia

With three rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), the phone is quite impressive. Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige are the two color choices of the Realme 12+ 5G.

The phone comes pre-installed with Realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14. In Indonesia, the price of the Realme 12+ 5G with the 8GB + 256GB configuration is IDR 41,99,000, or approximately Rs. 22,200.

The 12GB + 256GB model of the phone is priced at MYR 1,499 (approximately Rs. 26,200) in Malaysia. It is confirmed that the phone and the Realme 12 5G will launch in India on March 6.

These devices go along with the other Realme 12 series phones that were unveiled earlier in the year. The Realme 12+ 5G’s Rainwater Smart Touch display enables use in the rain and with wet hands. It has 256GB of onboard storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, all powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.

Additionally, It is practically possible to add up to 12GB more RAM. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with 67W SuperVOOC technology.

Features and Specifications

For security, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display provides security. There are several connectivity options available, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, and USB Type-C.

The phone is 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm in size and weighs approximately 190g. A 2-megapixel macro shooter and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens are also part of the rear camera setup.

The 16-megapixel sensor on the front camera is supported by AI.

Targeting the mid-range smartphone market, the Realme 12+ 5G delivers flagship-caliber features and specs at a competitive price.
