Journeys are only complete when the last mile walks beside you.
Bridging the Gap at New Delhi Station
Indian Railways is set to integrate its RailOne application with Bharat Taxi to tackle last-mile connectivity challenges at New Delhi railway station, according to the Indian Express. The initiative, being developed in partnership with RailTel, aims to ease congestion outside the station, reduce passenger inconvenience, and provide a reliable onward transport option.

“To improve the travel experience for passengers arriving at or departing from New Delhi Railway Station, the RailOne App is to be integrated with Bharat Taxi,” the Railways stated. This integration is designed to ensure passengers have a seamless transition from train to taxi, minimizing delays and improving overall efficiency in one of the country’s busiest transport hubs.
Cooperative Innovation Meets Technology
Bharat Taxi, launched on February 5, 2026, by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, is India’s first cooperative-based cab service. The service promotes the cooperative economic model while prioritizing transparent and fair service delivery to users, marking a significant step in public transport innovation.
RailOne, often called Indian Railways’ Super App, has already recorded 2.57 crore downloads as of March 15, 2026. On average, 7.64 lakh tickets—spanning both reserved and unreserved categories—are booked daily through the platform. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices, allowing passengers to plan, book, and now seamlessly continue their journey via Bharat Taxi.
This integration promises to redefine commuter convenience by combining technology with cooperative transport principles, offering a dependable and organized solution for last-mile travel while reducing congestion at a critical railway hub.
From platform to pavement, every journey will now flow like clockwork.
