Poco X7 5G Launching With 50MP Camera, 6000 mAh Battery On January 9

The new year will witness the launch of the Poco X7 5G series which is all set to be launched in India on January 9.

This series will feature two exciting models. Including the Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G. 

Soon, both of these smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

In the meantime, Poco has offered a sneak peek into the design and key features of the upcoming devices. Let’s go through it.

Poco X7 Exterior & Design 

The latest teasers released by the company highlights  the unique design elements for both of these models. 

At one side, the Poco X7 5G has a centrally located squircle-shaped rear camera setup.

On the other hand the X7 Pro features a pill-shaped camera module with circular slots at the top-left corner. 

Further, both of these devices will sport Poco’s signature black and yellow colour scheme, with additional colour options expected for both models.

Its base Poco X7 may have silver and green options at the same time the Pro variant is expected to showcase a dual-tone black and green finish.

Poco X7 Specification & Features

While ensuring smooth performance for heavy tasks and gaming, the Poco X7 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor.

Similarly, the standard Poco X7 is likely to sport  the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset. 

Both of these modals are expected to come with a robust camera setup where the Pro model features a 50-megapixel primary camera, possibly with a Sony IMX882 sensor. 

At the same time, the standard version may sport a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Both of them will have an IP68 rating, making them resistant to water and dust as the company claims.

The Poco X7 5G is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. 

Similarly, the X7 Pro variant is expected to be offered with a CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED screen with similar dimensions. 

Coming to battery, the Poco X7 will be having a 5,110mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The Pro model will be sporting a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities to ensure longer usage and faster recharge times.

It appears that the Poco X7 5G series is all set to make a big splash in the Indian market upon the release of these smartphones considering their powerful specifications and eye-catching design.
