Poco X6 Series Unveiling: Anticipation for Cutting-Edge Features and Performance
In a recent communication via the X platform, Poco India disclosed the news about the imminent launch of the smartphone in India, underscoring the device’s cutting-edge capabilities with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The announcement encourages anticipation for the #Indiadebut, promising exceptional performance driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset.
Details about the pricing and availability of the Poco X6 series are yet to be fully disclosed, but industry conjecture indicates that the lineup will feature the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro, succeeding their predecessors, the Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro. The foundational model is anticipated to take inspiration from the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while rumors hint at the Pro version potentially being a rebranded edition of the recently launched Redmi K70e in China. The official unveiling of both devices is anticipated in January 2024.
Speculations regarding the pricing of the Poco X6 Pro suggest alignment with the Redmi K70E, which made its debut in China in November 2023, starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant.
Although the Redmi K70e boasts a rapid 90W charging capability, the POCO X6 Pro is expected to offer a slightly lower 67W charging speed tailored for the Indian market. However, despite this regional adjustment, the POCO X6 Pro is poised to maintain identical specifications to its Redmi counterpart.

The smartphone’s performance will be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC coupled with the Mali G615 GPU. It will be available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB, utilizing UFS 4.0 technology. The operating system will operate on HyperOS, based on Android 14.
Camera specifications are rumored to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, the POCO X6 Pro is expected to house a 16MP front camera.
