The newly launched Poco X6 Pro and OnePlus Nord 3 are two highly impressive mid-range smartphones. But which one should you buy? We break down their key strengths and weaknesses to help decide.
Displays
The Poco X6 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus Nord 3 has a marginally bigger 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED display but with sharper WQHD+ resolution. Both phones have punch-hole selfie cameras.
Performance
Poco X6 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM (for two variants) for solid mid-range performance. OnePlus Nord 3 boasts MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip and 8GB & 16GB RAM (for two variants) for even better multitasking and gaming capabilities. But Poco X6 Pro offers faster UFS 4.0 storage over Nord 3’s UFS 3.1 storage.
Cameras
While both pack quad camera setups, they differ in approaches. Poco X6 Pro rear camera offers 64 MP f/1.79 (Wide Angle) + 8 MP 120˚ (Ultra Wide) + 2 MP (Macro) with autofocus.
While OnePlus Nord 3 opts for balanced 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro sensors. Both provide 16MP selfie cameras with both can shoot at 1080p @ 30 fps FHD.
Battery and Charging
With a large 5500mAh battery, Poco X6 Pro promises longer endurance than Nord 3’s 5000mAh cell. However, Nord 3 more than compensates with blazing fast 80W charging versus 67W on Poco.
So choosing between the two pocket-friendly champs depends on whether you prefer Nord 3’s smoother performance and fast charging or Poco X6 Pro’s bigger screen, camera and battery capacities. Ultimately both deliver excellent value.
