Front row seats with extra leg room is what every passenger wants! However, are you ready to pay extra money for this leg room?

Pay Rs 2000 For Front Row Seats On Indigo Flights; Passengers Slam This Move!

As per latest reports, passengers of IndiGo flights will now have to pay up to Rs. 2000 for front seats.

Why has IndiGo increased charges for extra leg room? Let’s find out!

IndiGo To Hike Charges By Rs. 2000 For Front Row Seats

Selecting a window or aisle seat in the front row of an A321 aircraft with 232 seats will cost Rs 2,000, while the cost is Rs 1,500 if it is the middle seat, according to the fees and charges listed for various services on the airline’s website.

For these seats in an A320 aircraft with 186 seats and an A321 plane with 222 seats, the fees are the same. According to the airline’s website, choosing these seats in an A320 aircraft with 180 seats is subject to the same tariff.

The fee for selecting a seat on an ATR aircraft can reach Rs 500.

According to aviation analyst Ameya Joshi, the airline has raised the seat selection fee to a maximum of Rs 2,000 for front row seats with additional legroom. He said that previously, it was up to Rs 1,500.

IndiGo Eliminates Fuel Fee From Customers

IndiGo did not immediately announce that the seat selection fee would be increased to a maximum of Rs 2,000.

It was not possible to determine changes in fees for choosing seats in other rows right away.

The airline eliminated the fuel fee that was collected from customers last week; as a result, tickets on some lengthy routes will now cost as little as Rs 1,000 less.

The airline began adding a fuel fee to all domestic and international tickets on October 6, 2023, in response to an increase in the cost of jet fuel. The fuel charge ranged from Rs 300 to Rs 1,000, contingent on the distance traveled.

Would you pay Rs. 2000 for front row seats with extra leg room? Let us know!
