Trending in the world of smartphones are foldable phones! A lot of smartphone makers are jumping into the untapped market of foldable smartphones, and the latest one is OPPO.
The company has launched its foldable smartphones in China, the Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip.
OPPO Find N2
The more expensive of the two models is the Find N2, which has two displays. While the external display is a smaller standard screen, the primary display of the foldable smartphone has an inward folding design akin to that of a notebook.
A 7.1-inch foldable panel with a 120Hz LTPO screen and a 1,920 x 1,792-pixel resolution is featured on the OPPO Find N2. The 5.54-inch external display has a full-HD+ resolution. Both of these displays feature AMOLED panels and HDR10+ support.
The internal storage options for the Find N2’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC are 256GB or 512GB and either 12GB or 16GB of RAM. A 4,520mAh battery with 67W fast charging support is included in the OPPO Find N2.
A 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom are all housed in the Find N2’s triple rear camera system. Two 32MP selfie cameras are built into both the internal and external displays of the foldable device.
The MariSilicon X, a Hasselblad and company-exclusive ISP, is also included in the Find N2. The device also comes pre-installed with ColorOS 13 for Android 13.
OPPO Find N2 Flip
A clamshell folding phone from OPPO has been unveiled that resembles the Moto Razr or the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. The Find N2 Flip has two displays, with the cover display providing only limited features like browsing notifications and acting as a viewfinder for the front and back cameras.
The Find N2 Flip’s main display is a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a full-HD+ resolution, DCI-P3 color gamut, and support for HDR10+. A 2.26-inch 60Hz OLED panel with a 720-pixel resolution serves as the external display.
A MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, along with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, power the Find N2 Flip.
Prices Of OPPO Find N And OPPO Find N2 Flip
Priced at CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs 95,000) in China, the OPPO Find N2’s entry-level 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is available now. The cost of the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option is CNY 8,999. (around Rs 1,06,900). It has a glass back and is available in Matte White, Green, and Black colour options. Vegan leather is also an option.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip is priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 71,300) for the entry-level 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, CNY 6,399 (about Rs 76,000), and CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs 83,200), for the top-end 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model. The Find N2 Flip is available in the colours Black, Purple, and Gold.
