OnePlus has released a video teasing an upcoming flagship smartwatch, likely called the OnePlus Watch 2 succeeding its budget 2021 smartwatch. The video confirms a round dial with a rotating outer bezel akin to the Apple Watch.
OnePlus is highlighting that “its time to do it right”, indicating the Watch 2 model will check shortcomings of its previous smart wearable attempts to qualify as a truly high-end offering. The Watch 2 could break cover at MWC 2024 later this month.

Flagship Specs Expected With Wear OS Powering
The brief video visuals suggest the imminent OnePlus smartwatch will flaunt a premium metal build with bands supporting convenient replacement. Industry insiders hint at a specifications upgrade with the device likely running Google’s Wear OS software unlike OnePlus’ value-focused watches.
This would enable third-party app support absent earlier, apart from tighter integration with Android phones. OnePlus is also expected to launch limited edition variants of the Watch 2 post the standard model’s announcement over coming weeks.
