OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its flagship OnePlus 12 series on January 23 globally, alongside a new OnePlus 12R model. Ahead of the debut event, tipster Roland Quandt has leaked images showing design of the European variant of OnePlus 12R.

OnePlus 12R Can Be Priced Under Rs 36,000? Leaks Suggest Aggresive Pricing For This Budget-Friendly OnePlus Smartphone! (Check Design)

Striking Resemblance to OnePlus Ace 3

The leaked shots indicate OnePlus 12R shares an identical exterior design with the recently launched OnePlus Ace 3 exclusive to China. It sports the same curved display with centrally placed punch-hole and a prominent rectangular camera island on back.

The OnePlus 12R can be seen in classic Black and a new Blue color option. Other visible elements include volume and power buttons on right side, alert slider on left along with bottom-firing speakers.

Earlier reports also suggested that this new variant under OnePlus 12 series can be a rebranded version of OnePlus Ace 3, which costs Rs 35,000 in China.

This means, that OnePlus 12R can be priced under Rs 36,000 in India?

OnePlus 12R Specs Mirror OnePlus Ace 3

Since OnePlus 12R is essentially a rebadged OnePlus Ace 3 model for global markets, their specifications are expected to be largely similar.

The OnePlus Ace 3 features a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB RAM and super-fast UFS 4.0 storage.

Its rear camera system consists of 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors. A 16MP selfie camera is present as well. Topping it off is a large 5,000mAh battery with blazing 100W fast charging.

Global Launch on January 23

Alongside the flagship OnePlus 12, the toned-down OnePlus 12R will also make its international debut on January 23.

OnePlus has revealed it is bringing the R-series outside China for the first time. The OnePlus 12R will compete with affordable flagships like Realme 10 Pro+ 5G and iQOO Neo 7 upon launch.

With sleek looks and mighty specifications packed inside a relatively accessible price tag, the OnePlus 12R shapes up as a new crowd-pulling contender in the sub-flagship space globally.
