As we already know that the OnePlus is gearing up for the global launch of the OnePlus 12 on January 23 this year, which will be held at Pragati Maidan.

OnePlus 12 smartphone is scheduled to be launched in India together with its affordable sibling, the OnePlus 12R.
Considering the nearing launch, the Chinese electronics maker has shared the key details related to the OnePlus 12R’s display and battery.
Please note here that the OnePlus 12 is already available in China.
So, most of its details are already out in the public.
But notably the OnePlus 12R is a totally different story as it is the first time the company will be lifting veils from the OnePlus 12R details.
OnePlus 12R Specifications
According to OnePlus, the 12R smartphone will be sporting a LTPO (fourth-gen) ProXDR display of 120Hz.
When it comes to the LTPO technology, it enables dynamic refresh rate to deliver a smooth experience without compromising on the power efficiency.
Further, this fourth-generation LTPO technology can move between the widest range of display refresh rates, including at 90Hz and 72Hz.
As for the battery, OnePlus confirmed the 12R will be powered by a 5,500mAh capacity battery.
Besides this, the smartphone maker has confirmed the support for SUPERVOOC fast charging and Battery HealthEngine feature for the OnePlus 12R.
Earlier, OnePlus released a preview image of the OnePlus 12R smartphone during December last year.
In that image, one can clearly notice the Iron Gray and Cool Blue colourways.
Its Cool Blue color variant comes with frosted glass texture on the back.
On the other hand, the Iron Gray color variant offers a matte finish.
Both of these variants would be featuring a metallic frame with its iconic alert slider placed on the left side.
OnePlus 12R will be offered with a 6.74-inch AMOLED, ProXDR, 120Hz (refresh rates).
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and has OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
For pictures, the smartphone is packed with 50MP (Primary)+8MP (ultra-wide)+ 32MP (Telephoto with 2X zoom).
When it comes to the battery, it is expected to have 5,500mAh which will come with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
OnePlus 12 & OnePlus 12R Pricing
The OnePlus 12 is expected to price between 58000 to 60000.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 12R is expected to be priced between 40000 to 42000.
