Rent Kia Cars Under “Kia Lease”
An agreement was made between ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited and Kia India. A new leasing service for the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens will be introduced under the MoU. There are various lease choices with varying mileage and time periods.
Maintenance and insurance are included in the leasing price. There are 24 and 60-month lease options.
For Sonet, Seltos, and Carens, the minimum monthly lease fees are Rs 21,900, Rs 28,900, and Rs 28,800, respectively.
Insurance and maintenance charges are included in the prices. Leasing does not need a down payment.
This initiative, which will initially make Kia vehicles available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pune, intends to increase customer accessibility and convenience.
At the conclusion of the lease, customers have the option to return, renew, or upgrade their car.
It is anticipated that the service will boost Kia sales.
Mr. Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India said, “The Leasing model is a global mega trend, gaining momentum in India too. This model resonates particularly well with new age consumers seeking flexible mobility solutions at appealing price points. With an industry forecast projecting 100% growth over the next 4-5 years, we anticipate our leasing service will outpace the industry growth average on account of better product range and service offerings.”
As per Vivek Wadhera MD and CEO at ORIX India, “Leasing is the next big trend in India where people are more concerned about mobility without any hassles attached to it. Leasing provides all that convenience under a single contract which offers attractive rentals linked usage, fully serviced vehicle, insurance for full period and option to change the car on closure of lease. We expect this space to grow over the coming years.”
Leasing Cars in India
As we all know, leasing is becoming more and more common in India.
Leasing services are also provided by other mass-market automakers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Skoda, and Volkswagen. For its leasing services, ORIX has worked with a few of these automakers.
Luxury automakers such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz also provide leasing options.
