Kia Seltos Facelift To Be Launched in July: All You Need To Know!

Interior and Exterior

The facelifted Kia Seltos will feature exterior changes including a redesigned front fascia with a new grille and LED Daytime Running Lights, updated headlamp cluster, revised front and rear bumpers, wider air inlet, connected LED tail lamps, new tailgate, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a new faux skid plate. Kia will also introduce new color options for the SUV.

Inside the cabin, the updated Seltos will come with a new digital instrument console that seamlessly integrates with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This curved display setup is similar to the one seen in the Mahindra XUV700. The dashboard and center console will be reworked, and new HVAC vents and a new drive selector will be added. The SUV is expected to offer features like ADAS-based driver-assistive and safety technologies, a wireless charger, six airbags, a panoramic sunroof, in-car connected technology, and new surface trims and materials.

Powertrain

A significant addition to the Kia Seltos lineup will be an all-new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. This engine, which debuted in the new-generation Hyundai Verna and Alcazar, will also be available in the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift in early 2024. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 160 PS and peak torque of 253 Nm. It will be paired with a six-speed iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

With increasing competition in the midsize SUV segment, Kia is expected to offer the facelifted Seltos with advanced driver-assistive and safety technologies. The SUV aims to provide a refreshed design, upgraded features, and improved performance to maintain its strong position in the Indian market.
