The wait is over as soon, the Agra Railway Division will have more Vande Bharat Express as per the recent media reports.

Proposal For New Vande Bharat Express
It appears that they are now doing preparations to run a new Vande Bharat for Agra-Jaipur route which is expected to be tested soon.
Reportedly, they are waiting for a nod from the Railway Board so that they can start this service as soon as possible.
So far, four Vande Bharat express are operating from Agra considering the tourists convenience.
With this new addition, it will be convenient for the tourists as they can visit Jaipur after seeing the Taj Mahal, further promoting tourism.
Moving ahead, they are planning to have a test run during the third week of June.
If you are wondering about the schedule, Vande Bharat Express will leave for Agra from Jaipur in the evening.
Besides this, they have also proposed Vande Bharat Express on the other routes including Lucknow to Mumbai, Bareilly to Mumbai, Nizamuddin to Indore.
Benefitting The Tourism Industry
At present, four Vande Bharats are operating from Agra every day.
Two years ago, the first Vande Bharat Rani ran between Kamlapati Bhopal and Hazrat Nizamuddin station.
After that, they prepared a proposal for Vande Bharat from Agra to Jaipur almost a year ago, but then it was shelved.
Then Vande Bharat Express started from Agra to Udaipur after six months.
The data shows that almost 70 percent seats are full in this train currently and these numbers will increase even more in June and July.
In case of Agra to Varanasi Vande Bharat, the number of coaches has increased from eight to 16, on May 29, still there is a waiting list of more than 50.
After seeing the Taj Mahal and other monuments, a large number of tourists leave for Jaipur, said a Railway Board official.
So, if they provide a direct train from Agra then it would definitely benefit the tourism industry.
If this idea gets a nod then the train will leave from Agra in the morning and return in the evening.
It would also help in attracting more tourists to Agra as if they further plan to go to Varanasi or Prayagraj then they can make use of the Vande Bharat express.
