Indian Railways is set to introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express linking Cherlapalli near Hyderabad with Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu, creating an important rail connection across three southern states. The proposed train will start from Cherlapalli railway station, a developing rail hub near Hyderabad. It will then travel through several important railway stations across southern India before reaching Nagercoil, a major town near the southern tip of Tamil Nadu.
