Re-Examination: New Admit Card Issued For 1563 NEET UG 2024 Candidates

Only those applicants who received grace marks for missing time on the first exam are eligible to retake it.

NTA Releases Admit Cards for NEET UG 2024 Retest

Admit cards for the June 23 exam are available for candidates on the neet.ntaonline.in website, which is the official NTA website.

As instructed by the NTA, candidates who receive grace marks are required to take part in the re-examination or accept their original grades, which do not include the grace score.

Candidates received notifications through the email addresses they registered with about the retest and grace marks.

In total, 1563 applicants received grace points for time missed on the May 5 NEET exam.

On June 4, the NEET UG 2024 results were revealed, with 67 students receiving an AIR 1. This year, seventeen transgender applicants took the NEET UG exam. 13,31,321 female candidates and 9,96,393 male candidates took the exam in total.

NEET Applicants Claim Anomalies

Multiple NEET applicants claimed that anomalies and mark inflation resulted in 67 candidates—six of whom came from the same test center—sharing the top spot. These claims have raised significant concerns about the authenticity of the examination process.

NTA Director General Subodh Kumar firmly denied any paper leak during a news conference. He stated that the integrity of the exam was not compromised and that the issues were confined to just six of the 4,750 exam venues. Kumar also mentioned that the Education Ministry has assembled a group to reevaluate the results of over 1,500 students, which may lead to amending the results of those who received grace marks.

NEET 2024 Cutoff

For starters, the NEET 2024 cutoff for the general category is 720-164, for SC/ST/OBC category, the cutoff is 163-129, for the general- PH category it is 163-146 and for the SC/OBC- PH it is 145-129, and for ST PH it is 141-129, as per the announcement.

This also helps candidates as with the help of NEET college predictor on the basis of marks, the candidates can predict their chances of admission.

Besides this, the NEET 2024 expected cutoff will be released by the popular NEET coaching institutes such as Aakash, Allen Kota, Sri Chaitanya etc.

Usually, the NEET cut-off is divided into two categories including admission cut-off, and qualifying cut-off, in the NEET exam.
