The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2025 merit list for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats on August 27. Candidates aspiring for MD, MS, Post Graduate Diploma, Post MBBS DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 years), and NBEMS Diploma courses can now check their eligibility and ranks at natboard.edu.in.

What the Merit List Includes
The released merit list displays important details such as:
- Roll numbers and application IDs
- Category of candidates
- NEET PG scores and overall ranks
- AIQ ranks and category-wise AIQ ranks
NBEMS clarified that while this is the AIQ merit list, the final merit lists for state quotas will be separately issued by respective states and UTs in line with their reservation policies and eligibility criteria.
Exam and Result Timeline
- Exam held: August 3, 2025
- Result declared: August 19, 2025
- AIQ merit list published: August 27, 2025
Alongside the results, category-wise cut-off marks were also released. Only candidates meeting or exceeding the cut-off in their respective categories are eligible for counseling.
AIQ Scorecards from September 5
Candidates qualifying for the 50% AIQ counseling can download their AIQ scorecards from September 5, 2025. These will remain available for six months and will not be sent in physical form.
The scorecards will provide:
- NEET PG 2025 Rank: Overall rank among all candidates
- All India 50% Quota Rank: Rank among AIQ-eligible candidates for counseling
- AIQ Category Rank: Category-specific rank for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS
Counseling and Next Steps
NBEMS has advised candidates to keep checking the MCC website (mcc.nic.in) for counseling schedules and seat availability. Updates will also be published on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare portal (mohfw.gov.in).
NBEMS further warned that candidates found indulging in unfair practices could face cancellation of results and penal action. Queries can be directed to NBEMS via 011-45593000 or its Communication Web Portal.
