Motorola Launches Foldable Phone At Rs 49,999: Moto Razr 60

Lenovo owned mobility company, Motorola, launched the Razr 60 clamshell-style foldable smartphone in India on Wednesday, May 28.

Motorola Razr 60 Specifications 

This latest offering by this phone maker is powered by MediaTek’s mid-range Dimensity 7400X chipset and comes with “moto ai” features.

Moving ahead, this handset features a huge 6.9-inch 120Hz pOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate further accompanying a 90Hz 3.6-inch pOLED cover screen that goes up to 1,700 nits.

The screen is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus. 

The Razr 60 has been extensively tested for more than 5,00,000 flips and offers IP48 dust and water resistance as per the company’s claim.

This sounds interesting as it is uncommon on flip-style smartphones.

The Motorola Razr 60 is offered with three years of Android updates and four years of security patches. 

It will run on Hello UI skin which is based on Android 15 and comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM while offering up to 256GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the camera, the Razr 60 sports a dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) alongside a 13MP ultrawide shooter.

Besides this, the handset will get a 32MP selfie shooter on the inner display.

According to Motorola its camera app is equipped with AI features like Photo Booth, Tent Mode, AI Photo Enhancement, Desk Mode, Video Enhancement, Camcoreder and AI-based stabilisation.

Segment First AI Features Offered With Razr 60

In addition to this, the latest offering comes with some segment-first AI features such as the ability to use Gemini on the cover display, Catch Me Up for personalised notification summaries, Pay Attention for live translation with the ability to identify speakers, Text to Sticker for generating stickers from scratch and AI Playlist Studio that generates playlists based on your mood.

The Razr 60 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. 

The users get Wi-Fi 7 and access to 16 5G bands on the connectivity front.

So far, the Motorola Razr 60 is offered in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Further, the handset comes in three colour variants including  Lightest Sky, Gibraltar Sea and Spring Bud (with vegan leather finish).

If you are looking to purchase it, this smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Reliance Digital and the official Motorola website from June 4 for Rs 49,999.
