The Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company, Mediatek is set to make waves in the world of mobile processors with the imminent launch of its latest innovation, the Dimensity 9300.
Dimensity 9300 Sets New Records
According to the rumor mills, Mediatek is planning to launch the Dimensity 9300 with a unique octa-core CPU.
In a latest update, this powerful system-on-a-chip (SoC) has surfaced on AnTuTu’s database, posting record-breaking numbers that have left tech enthusiasts buzzing with excitement.
While rumors about it circled around, the platform appeared on AnTuTu’s database on Monday, October 23.
When it comes to this latest SoC, it posted a result of over 2 million setting a new high.
Further, the Dimensity 9300 managed to achieve an astonishing score of over 2 million on the popular benchmark platform, shattering previous records and setting a new industry standard.
Every Single Component Performing Well
Besides this, the scores for every single component is also noteworthy.
To start with , this CPU will have 4 Cortex-X4 units and 4 Cortex-A720, likely in a 1+3+4 cluster combination.
Notably, there are no “small” Cortex-A520 units.
It is noteworthy here that the device used in this test is unknown.
Also, the model number speaks nothing to us – it could be a testing bench.
Its testing was done with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, while the OS is Android 14.
But its results are extraordinary as the first time a phone had surpassed the 2,000,000 threshold on AnTuTu.
And why not! As each component is a lot higher than any Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
This resulted in – the CPU is 65% better, GPU is 55%, LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.0 storage is 33% faster, while the UX scored over 50% higher.
Please note here that all these numbers are the raw performance of the hardware.
According to the analysts, the actual experience is unlikely to be so dramatically different, unless you get some properly impressive cooling.
To our discernment, Mediatek is yet to announce when the Dimensity 9300 will arrive and which phones will have it first.
