Maruti Suzuki Launches Four Models of Victoris
Here, the VXi variant—which is one level above the base-spec LXi—is the main focus.
The exterior of the Victoris VXi has 17-inch steel wheels with covers, ORVM-mounted turn indicators, positioning lamps, and halogen projector headlights.
The VXi also has roof rails, linked LED tail lights, body-colored door handles and ORVMs, and more than the standard LXi.
Standard features on all versions include a shark-fin antenna, an expanded roof spoiler, and silver front and rear skid plates.
The Victoris VXi’s interior has black fabric seat cushions and a dual-tone black and off-white cabin.
All seats have adjustable headrests, a rear centre armrest with cupholders, and a forward front centre armrest with storage from the base LXi.
The VXi model includes a vanity mirror for the front passengers, front footwell lighting, and chrome-finished inner door handles.
A height-adjustable driver’s seat, auto air conditioning, tilt and telescopic steering, 60:40 split rear seats, two 45W Type-C USB outlets for the backseat passengers, keyless entry, and electrically adjustable ORVMs are just a few of the many comfort and convenience options available in the VXi model.
Features and Specifications
Premium features, including cruise control, paddle shifters (automatic only), a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display (strong-hybrid only), multi-drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport – strong-hybrid only), and a PM2.5 air filter, are also included.
The VXi has a 7-inch touchscreen for infotainment, which is smaller than the 10.1-inch screen seen in ZXi Plus models.
Voice assistant, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and OTA updates are all supported by this device.
Dual speakers with two tweeters, Alexa support, telematics (connected car technology), and steering-mounted controls for volume, source, and calling are examples of audio and connectivity features.
In the Bharat NCAP crash tests, the Victoris received a 5-star safety rating.
Six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, seatbelt reminders, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, and ISOFIX mounts are standard safety equipment across all models.
A rear parking camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an electronic parking brake (automatic only) are additional VXi safety equipment.
Additionally, the VXi’s strong-hybrid versions come equipped with an acoustic vehicle alert system (AVAS).
The Victoris VXi is offered with three powertrain options:
- 1.5-litre mild hybrid petrol: 103 PS, 139 Nm, 5-speed MT or 6-speed AT, 21.18 kmpl (MT) / 21.06 kmpl (AT).
- 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol: 116 PS (combined), 141 Nm, e-CVT, 28.65 kmpl.
- 1.5-litre petrol+CNG: 88 PS, 121.5 Nm, 5-speed MT, 27.02 km/kg.
Only front-wheel drive is available for all three powerplant combinations.
Only the highest-spec ZXi Plus and ZXi Plus (O) models have all-wheel drive (AWD); the VXi does not have this feature.
It is anticipated that the Victoris costs would be revealed around Diwali. Prices are anticipated to start at ₹9.75 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
Maruti’s Arena dealerships will sell the Victoris. Ideally, the Victoris should have been sold through the Nexa outlets, given its premium placement.
