India Today has released their annual Mood Of The Nation opinion poll, and the results are pretty interesting.
While Shahrukh Khan has beaten Amitabh Bachchan to emerge as the #1 Bollywood actor, Deepika Padukone has defeated Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif to be declared as the top female actress as per the poll.
There are some interesting movement in the OTT space, as Pankaj Tripathi has been declared as the most popular OTT actor, defeating the likes of Bobby Deol and Abhishek Bachchan by a fair margin. This speaks volume about Pankaj’s growing charisma and popularity among OTT viewers.
Recently, he won National Award for Best Supporting Actor in Netflix movie: Mimi. Manoj Bajpayee also gave a tough fight to Pankaj in this ranking.
In terms of female OTT actors, Sushmita Sen has topped the charts, beating Radhika Apte, Kajol and other prominent actresses.
Kapil Sharma has been declared as the top comedian in this opinion poll, beating the likes of Zakir Khan and Anubhav Singh Bassi, who was seen in few blockbuster Bollywood hits last year.
