As a part its mission to redefine the Indian electric SUV market, Mahindra has launched its BS 6e as well as XEV 9e.
Mahindra XEV 7e: Electric XUV700 with Third-Row Seating and Shared Features with XEV 9e
These, also mark the debut of the Mahindra Electric Origin SUV lineup, with more models, including the XEV 7e, expected to follow. An electric version of the popular XUV700, shall feature third-row seating, unlike the XEV 9e, which offers only two rows.
It is expected that most of the features of XEV 7e shall be shared with XEV 9e, with some notable changes in design as well as functionality.
As per the leaked images of the XEV 7e, looks seem similar to the XEV 9e, with a design inspired by the XUV700. The vehicle will feature a front fascia and dashboard layout borrowed from the XEV 9e, while retaining the XUV700’s side profile and rear design.
Mahindra XEV 7e: Luxurious Features, Dual-Motor Powertrain, and Off-Road Capabilities
There shall also be new wheel designs to the XEV 7e and it shall only be the model in the Mahindra Electric Origin line-up to offer a panoramic sunroof. The cabin will be luxurious, offering captain chairs in the second row, a triple-screen layout, a new steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and a Harman Kardon audio system.
In terms of powertrain, the XEV 7e is expected to come with a dual-motor setup, providing improved performance with over 350 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. This will enable quicker acceleration compared to other Mahindra electric models. The XEV 7e will also be equipped with off-roading traction modes like “Snow,” a feature not found in the XEV 9e and BE 6e.
