Jio has launched that they will be launching Jio Airfiber, a new, modern, and advanced wireless broadband, that promises up to 1.5 Gbps speed, without any wire.

All you need to do is, switch on the device – just like your existing Jio Wifi Hotspot (There are around 10 million customers, who are subscribers of this service)

But this time, the experience will be like JioFiber speed, and much better and faster. Reliance has declared that they will on-board 1.5 lakh new subscribers every 24 hours, and scale the operations at a rapid pace.

Jio AirFiber will be launched on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, on September 19th, 2023.

During the Reliance’s 46th Annual General Meeting, Mukesh Ambarni announced: “Today, I’m delighted to announce that JioAirFiber will launch on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 19th September, giving us another avenue for customer value and revenue growth in the untapped Indian home segment,”

What Is Jio Airfiber

Designed to offer fast internet speeds without needing wires. JioAirFiber can be used by plugging it in and switching it on. It creates a personal Wi-Fi hotspot at home, connected to super-fast internet through True 5G technology.

Jio AirFiber is set to introduce features for managing and controlling content on the network. This includes tools for parental control, enabling users to monitor and limit accessible content. Additionally, the service will incorporate Wi-Fi 6 technology, ensuring better and more efficient connectivity for connected devices.

The integration of Jio AirFiber with the Jio set-top box brings together high-speed internet and television viewing on a unified network.

For user convenience, Jio AirFiber will provide a user-friendly app for easy installation and management.
