The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is scheduled for release in India on July 4th and will be a more expensive version of the iQOO Neo 7, which was launched earlier this year in the country. The company has been teasing the phone’s design on its social media platforms. However, just before the official announcement, iQOO has confirmed the chipset that will power the Neo 7 Pro. In comparison to the iQOO Neo 7, the Neo 7 Pro appears to be a high-end offering aiming to compete with the OnePlus 11R.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, paired with an Adreno GPU for graphics. This flagship chipset consists of an ARM Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

Furthermore, it is expected that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will support 120W fast charging, which claims to charge the phone up to 50% in just 8 minutes.

Recently, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark platform, as noted by tipster Mukul Sharma. The listing reveals an impressive score of 1,316,514 points. Additionally, the phone’s CPU temperature reached a maximum of 38.2 degrees Celsius during the stress test, suggesting good thermal performance.

Expected Specifications

It is rumoured that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will come with a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, featuring a high 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

The device will be plonked with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, along with the Adreno 730 GPU for smooth graphics processing.

Customized with Funtouch OS 13, the phone will run on the Android 13 operating system and users can choose between 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and storage options include 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Speaking of the cameras, rear camera of this model is rumoured to boast a primary camera with a 50MP resolution, incorporating Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots. Additionally, it is said to feature an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. Whereas on the front, there is a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The device is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, enabling quick charging times.

Speaking of the other specs, they include, connectivity options will include 5G support, a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, and GPS.
