iQOO 15R Can Be Priced Under Rs 50,000; Launch Confirmed On Feb 24

The smartphone which is believed to be the India variant of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, the iQOO 15R is now set to launch in India on February 24. Prior to this, it was launched in China last month and now it will be available on Amazon for the purchase.

What To Expect In iQOO 15R?

This smartphone is featuring Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The best part is that despite packing a massive 7600 mAh battery, it is claimed to be the slimmest phone in India.

It seems that the iQOO 15R is specifically designed considering the young consumers in mind, particularly those who enjoy mobile gaming. For them, this smartphone offers up to 144FPS gameplay which is powered by the Supercomputing Chip Q2.

When it comes to the design, the iQOO 15R features a square camera module housing two horizontally arranged lenses with circular outlines, with its rear panel sporting a distinctive chequered texture.

Coming to performance, the iQOO 15R claims an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 3.5 million as the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, further sporting a massive 7,600mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge support.

Moving ahead, this smartphone shipped with OriginOS 6 out of the box, further comes with four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. 

It also offers a One Tap Transfer feature that allows users to migrate apps and data quickly from both Android and iOS devices.

iQOO 15R Variants, AI Tools & Camera 

iQOO 15R smartphone will be available in two colour variants including Triumph Silver and Dark Knight. In addition to this, the device will carry both IP68 and IP69 ratings.

The smartphone will include a suite of AI tools such as AI Creation in Notes allowing users to rewrite text, summarise documents, and correct grammar, AI Captions provide real-time transcription and translation.

The device will come with integration of Google Gemini and Circle to Search.

The photos can be edited with different tools  like AI Erase and AI Reflection Erase to remove objects or glare, AI Magic Move to adjust subjects, AI Image Expander for extending backgrounds, and AI Image Cut-out for extracting subjects.

Besides this, there is an AI Document Scanning feature, which is specifically included to help digitise paperwork.

The iQOO 15R will also feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate as per the leaks.

The front camera is most likely to feature a 200-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and also tipped to have a front camera with a 32-megapixel shooter.
