After the recent unveiling of the iPhone 16 series at the Glowtime event, 9to5 Mac has stated that Apple would release the iPhone SE 4 in around six months.
This is the first upgrade for the iPhone SE series in nearly three years, and it is anticipated to be the biggest makeover since the line’s inception.
iPhone SE 4 To Be Launched in Six Months
We had earlier reported that many of the features of the iPhone 16 are anticipated to be present in the iPhone SE 4 and it is expected that the iPhone SE 4 will be on sale in the first quarter of 2025.
Due to its enhanced features, the iPhone SE 4 will cost more than its predecessor, but with its dynamic pricing, it will still be among the least priced devices in Apple’s lineup.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have many of the same features as the iPhone 14, such as a larger 6.1″ OLED display, a flat-edged design, Face ID, and a reduced notch, according to several speculations and leaks.
The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to have a single camera instead of two, like the iPhone 14.
The Action Button, which was first seen in the iPhone 15 Pro and has now been added to the iPhone 16 lineup, may be present in the iPhone SE 4.
It is anticipated that Apple will discontinue using the Lightning connector with the release of the iPhone SE 4.
According to reports, the A18 chip, which is expected to power the iPhone SE 4, would enable Apple Intelligence. It also has 8GB of RAM.
The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to retail for $499, which puts it at a lower price point than the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models.
