India's Cheapest Electric Two-Wheeler Launched At Rs 59,900

Zelo Electric, an electric two-wheeler startup, has launched the Knight+, which is the most affordable electric scooter in India so far, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹59,990.

The Knight+ is positioned as an accessible option in the EV market.

Zelo Electric Launches “Knight+” India’s Most Affordable Electric Scooter at ₹59,990

Knight+ Specifications And Features

It comes with a 1.8kWh portable LFP battery that offers a claimed 100km real-world range and ensures thermal stability.

The e-scooter is powered by a 1.5kW motor and can reach a top speed of 55kmph.

Zelo Electric has included several segment-first features in the Knight+ to make EV ownership more accessible.

Key features include hill hold control for inclines, cruise control for easy highway riding, Follow-me-home headlamps for safety in dark parking areas, a USB charging port, and a removable battery for home charging.

The scooter is available in six colour options — glossy white, glossy black, and four dual-tone finishes such as matte blue with white and matte yellow with white.

Zelo Electric’s current portfolio includes four models — three low-speed scooters (Zoop, Knight, and Zaeden) and one high-speed RTO-registered model (Zaeden+).

Pre-bookings for the Knight+ are now open at Zelo Electric dealerships across India.

Deliveries will begin from August 20, 2025.
