The Ministry of Railways has launched the SwaRail superapp, a unified platform designed to integrate multiple railway services into a single app. Currently available in beta for Android and iOS, the app allows users to book tickets, track trains, check PNR status, order food, and access Rail Madad for complaints.

Features & Integration
Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), SwaRail replaces multiple standalone railway apps, reducing app clutter and improving accessibility. It supports single sign-on functionality, allowing users to log in with existing IRCTC RailConnect or UTS Mobile App credentials. The app also offers m-PIN and biometric authentication for secure access.
Beta Testing & Future Release
SwaRail is currently in beta testing, with users encouraged to provide feedback. Following a successful evaluation, the Ministry of Railways plans a full-scale rollout. The app aims to enhance convenience and improve railway service efficiency across India.
