The latest budget launch from Xiaomi, Redmi 13C, has already set foot in global markets earlier this month, although it is yet to be launched in the Indian market.
Xiaomi Redmi 13C Launch In India
You would be surprised to know that the handset will differ slightly from the global version, Interestingly enough, as per the media report.
The sources known to the matter say that the Indian version of the Redmi 13C will boast a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset instead of the Helio G85.
This newer chip is based on a more recent manufacturing process and bumps up the clock speed.
Besides this, Xiaomi won’t change anything else for the Indian version.

So far the information regarding memory variants and colors is not available, but we will know soon enough as the announcement date is set for next month.
For the unawares, Redmi 13C was launched globally earlier in November.
This handset succeeds the Redmi 12C, which was unveiled in December 2022.
Recently, Xiaomi has confirmed the India launch date of the Redmi 13C and teased its color options.
In the meantime, the key specifications of the handset have also leaked.
The Redmi 13C will launch in the Indian market on December 6, as per an official post by Redmi India.
In addition to this, the teaser page for the phone on Xiaomi’s official website also confirms two color options as well as a 50-megapixel primary rear camera.
It indicates that this smartphone will be available in India in Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colors.
In the meantime, media reports say that the Indian variant of the Redmi 13C will likely be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, similar to its global variant.
Further, the report adds that the Indian model will also carry other similar features to its global counterpart.
This latest smartphone from Xiaomi still features a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 50MP + 2MP camera combo on the back, leaving the 8MP selfie camera on the front.
It will come with a triple rear camera unit that is said to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and an auxiliary lens.
Not only this, its front camera is also expected to get an 8-megapixel sensor like the global model.
This handset is most likely to run Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box in India, like in all other markets.
It is powered by a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 18W charging.
Besides this, interestingly, the report has not confirmed any other details of the Indian variant of the phone.
The global variant of the Redmi 13C is offered in Clover Green, Glacier White, Midnight Black, and Navy Blue colourways.
And its 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at $139.99 (roughly Rs. 11,700), while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options are listed at $159.99 (roughly Rs. 13,300) and $164.99 (roughly Rs. 13,800), respectively.
