The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has launched a new commercial plot allotment scheme to promote the IT and BPO sectors in the region. A total of 22 plots will be offered specifically for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations through an e-auction process, ensuring transparency in allocation.

Greater Noida Offers 22 Plots Ranging 500–1,389 sqm for Tech Investment
The registration for the scheme opened on August 25 and will remain active until September 23. These plots are located in Knowledge Park 5 and Techzone 7, areas already identified as strategic hubs for IT development. The plot sizes vary between 500 and 1,389 square meters, offering flexibility to companies with different operational needs.
According to Arvind Mohan Singh, Senior Manager at GNIDA, the total reserve price for all 22 plots is pegged at around ₹55 crores. The available plot sizes include 500, 684, 783, 1,000, 1,042, 1,126, 1,206, and 1,389 square meters. This range, he said, allows businesses of varying scales to invest.
GNIDA Targets Fresh Investments, Employment Through IT-BPO Plot Scheme
While GNIDA has launched similar schemes in the past with limited success, officials believe the timing is now more favourable. With the upcoming Noida International Airport expected to transform connectivity and drive large-scale infrastructure and economic growth, Greater Noida is positioning itself as an emerging hub for IT and BPO services.
ACEO Singh stated that the scheme is designed to attract fresh investments, generate employment, and strengthen Greater Noida’s standing as a preferred destination for technology-driven industries. Industry experts also view it as a vital step to revive the region’s tech potential amid improving infrastructure and renewed investor confidence.
