Google announced several exciting developments at its recent Google I/O event on May 10.

Google's New AI-Language Is Better Than Bard, ChatGPT: Google Gemini Can Generate Text, Code & Images!

Among them were the highly-anticipated Google Pixel 7a and Google Pixel Fold, as well as the latest AI advancements.

Read on to find out all the details!

New AI, Gemini, To Compete Against ChatGPT, BingAI

One of these advancements is the upcoming release of a new language model called Gemini. Although Google already has a language model called Bard, Gemini is expected to surpass both ChatGPT and BingAI with its unique features. Its multimodal capability, which sets it apart from previous models, is one of its most notable features.

Google stated in a blog post, “We’re already at work on Gemini – our next model created from the ground up to be multimodal, highly efficient at tool and API integrations, and built to enable future innovations, like memory and planning.

While Gemini is currently undergoing training, it has already demonstrated unprecedented multimodal capabilities not seen in previous models. The aim is to fine-tune and rigorously test Gemini for safety to ensure its deployment across a wide range of products, applications, and devices. Similar to PaLM 2, Gemini will be available in different sizes and capabilities, catering to the diverse needs of users and benefiting everyone involved.

Is Gemini Better Than ChatGPT, BingAI?

Gemini’s multimodal capabilities, which enable it to understand and generate text, code, and images, are its key advantage over ChatGPT and BingAI. ChatGPT is limited to text-only models, which means that it can only understand and generate text.

On the other hand, Gemini could be used for a wider range of tasks, such as creating an AI-powered chatbot that can understand and respond to both text and images. Similarly, Bing has a separate link for image creation, but its chatbot is text-only.

Gemini’s applications extend beyond text, as it could be used to power new versions of Google Search or AI-powered virtual assistants. In contrast, ChatGPT and BingAI lack these capabilities. Additionally, Gemini is designed with memory and planning capabilities, which enable it to power new types of AI-powered applications that are not possible with ChatGPT.
