Marking another milestone in the Hyderabad IT sector, it will be mapped with the Google for Startups (GfS) Hub which is set to be launched in Hyderabad as part of the MoU between Google and the Government of Telangana.

Hyderabad Becoming Centre Of Google for Startups Hub

It appears that the Google Hub will be within T-Hub and it is scripted to be inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on December 9 this year.

With this project, T-Hub and Google will jointly accelerate AI-first startups further fostering talent and creating direct bridges to international markets and capital.

This strategic partnership is also viewed as a foundational step in the startups and digital innovation space.

It would be a robust step towards the broader economic vision to make Telangana a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Soon, Google will be deploying senior experts across AI/ML, product, UX and GTM domains as the company needs to conduct in-depth sessions for startups, student founders and developers.

They are planning to run tailored tracks for women entrepreneurs, Tier-2 innovators and university talent at the same time instilling an early innovation mindset among over 10,000 students annually.

How Would This Happen?

Google will bring top VCs from Silicon Valley, Japan and Southeast Asia, corporate innovation leaders from global enterprises, through its curated calendar of programmes.

The IT service provider is planning to bring in founders of top AI startups to share journeys and engage with local ventures.

Basically, they are planning to design this hub to serve as a breeding ground for AI-first startups solving real-world challenges across climate, health and education sectors, according to officials.

In addition to this, there would be special AI-focused bootcamps and innovation days which will equip startups with Google’s tools, cloud credits and AI/ML capabilities.

With this initiative, the government expects that more than 200 startups will take birth with 30% of them focussing on AI/deep-tech that too by next year.

This project is likely to attract over ₹50 crore in funding facilitated through Google and T-Hub investor networks, reportedly.
