Google Pixel 7a, a highly anticipated smartphone is expected to be launched at Google’s I/O developer conference on May 10.
Let’s discuss the phone’s availability in India!
Google Pixel 7a Launch in May; India Availability
Given the popularity of its low-cost Pixel A series in India, it is highly improbable that Google will offer the Pixel 7a outside of that region.
The Pixel 6a was initially offered in India at a somewhat higher price, but the business later lowered it, much to the delight of customers. In India, the Pixel 7a might debut in July, following the same schedule as its predecessor.
The device is anticipated to cost between $450 and $500 on the American market, which is approximately between Rs 37,100 and Rs 41,200. Yet, because of the disparity in cost, the pricing in India is probably lower.
Display
It has a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
This is an improvement over the Pixel 6a’s 60Hz panel from the previous year and is more similar to the screen on the Pixel 7.
Processor
About the processor, it has UFS 3.1 storage and Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, which is the leading chipset for 2022.
The Pixel 7 Pro uses the same Tensor G2 SoC processor.
This chip will also work with UFS 3.1 storage standards and LPDDR5 RAM.
The Pixel 7a will be able to perform on par with flagship models when combined with faster memory standards.
Camera
Debayan Roy, a Gadgetsdata tipster, claims that Google is also upgrading the Pixel 7a’s primary camera, which will now employ a 64 MP Sony IMX787 sensor.
This will probably represent a big improvement over the 12.2MP sensor on the Pixel 6a.
A 12 MP ultrawide camera will be linked to the main camera.
Wireless charging
The phone’s rumored support for simple 5W wireless charging is the most intriguing feature.
The Pixel 7a will finally come pre-installed with Android 13.
As long as the pricing is reasonable, the Pixel 7a looks like a wonderful all-arounder with true ultrawide, powerful SoC, and wireless charging in the mid-range market.
