The software was previously limited to use on iPhones and some Android smart TVs.

As per a report, Apple is hiring engineers to work on this new project.
A range of content, including Apple TV+ originals, may be streamed using the Apple TV app.
Within the app, users can subscribe to additional Apple TV channels, such as HBO and Showtime. Users of the app can purchase or rent TV series and movies from the store.
The app also offers access to live sports programming, such as Friday Night Baseball and the MLS Season Pass. Watching Apple TV+ content on an Android device required using the web version at tv.apple.com in the past.
For an improved user experience, the native app will have capabilities like offline downloads.
Subscription Details of Apple TV+ in India
The monthly subscription fee for Apple TV+ in India is Rs 99. New users are eligible for a free seven-day trial. When you buy a new Apple product, you get a free year of Apple TV+. The monthly fee is applicable after the free time.
With a single membership, family sharing accommodates up to six family members. Other Apple TV channels, Apple TV+ originals, and a store for purchasing or renting content are also included in the Apple TV app.
Sports programming such as Friday Night Baseball and the MLS Season Pass are also available on the app. To draw more people to Apple TV+, the Apple TV app’s availability is being increased.
Currently, the software can be found on streaming boxes from Xfinity, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, PlayStation, and Xbox. Apple published a desktop version for Windows natively last year. It’s still unknown when the Android version will be released.
