Enhanced Safeguards as Features Expand
Addressing responsible AI concerns, Google said image upload/generation restrictions are being relaxed cautiously with alignment on ethical refusals. Controls ensure Gemini won’t create inappropriate text/images.
Senior execs also acknowledged user feedback to better distinguish Gemini’s features relative to Google Assistant. More communication on current versus upcoming capabilities is slated to address confusion.
With smart responses on diverse topics, Gemini aims to lend users a fun, quick-witted companion on demand. Its global debut signifies a new frontier for chatbots with Google banking on AI advancements to deliver more enriching, safe digital experiences.
